stage set #4
- 3ds Max
- Photoshop
To the left, an unprepossessing image knocked up at speed as a quick set visual: a Max scanline render with little in the way of redeeming features.
Thanks to the practise of re-using set-elements which, originally fabricated, would be recycled as often as possible, these simple models would often end up being used more than once for different events: the later image, below, is such an example.

- Vray render with some minor tweaking in Photoshop.
Lighting's everything - both in the real world, where multiple configurations can be used to wring a diverse number of different effects from static scenes such as this one - and within the 3D application. Regardless of rendering method. |
